Arione Mario winery, named after its creator, was founded in 1953 in the city of Canelli, located in the Piedmont region, in the province of Asti, in one of the best wineries in Italy. The winemaking traditions laid down by Arion Mario were passed down from generation to generation. Now the farm is managed by the son and grandson of Arion Mario, representing the third generation of the family.
The preservation of the traditions of winemaking and the use of modern technologies that are used in the production of wine are the main characteristics of the economy. The winery is equipped with new modern equipment for the production, bottling and storage of wine.
Montepulciano wines are full-bodied with flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, and plum. Earthy notes, spice, and hints of chocolate or tobacco often emerge with aging. It has moderate acidity and smooth tannins.
