Carchelo C Jumilla

$10.00

Overview

As with the history of many families of Jumilla, in the last century the Carchelo family was transforming the grapes from its vineyards into full-bodied, intense in color, Spanish 'country reds'. Almost three generations later, they are still people of the countryside.  In the Spanish Mediterranean, between the provinces of Alicante, Albacete (La Mancha), Granada and Almeria (Andalusia) lies the region of Murcia, and Jumilla is located to the north-east. It is a historically ancient city with an extensive municipal area (1,000 km²) which makes up the highlands of the region of Murcia. It has an average altitude of 600 m. It offers dry and mountainous land, of steppes and pilgrims, where the vineyard historically found a unique habitat for producing grapes of exceptional quality.

Attractive ruby red with purple hues.Intense and complex, full of fruity notes, with aromas of both black and red berries standing out, which are added to the spicy notes acquired from 6 months aging in barrels, with hints of cedar and toasting.Surprising, due to its softness and balance, as well as the presence of subtleties of flavor in the mouth. Harmonious, fresh, with a long-lasting delicate persistence.
