Modeled after the quintessential rosés of Tavel, the 2023 Ma Fille from Shane is made primarily from Syrah, with just a bit of Grenache. Fermented in the winery's oldest barrels and true to vintage, with lower-than-usual alcohol and bright acidity, the Ma Fille is wonderfully fresh, with aromas of muskmelon, orange zest and ruby red grapefruit. Citrusy on the palate, with a lovely floral hint and just a twist of white pepper and star anise spice. This is perfect for parties, picnics, or just to sip while watching the sunset.
