'WINE By The CLASS': Modern Wines of California

In this class, you will have the chance to taste and learn about the exciting modern wine styles being crafted across the incredible "Golden State." Today's modern generation of California winemakers have learned how to craft some of the best wines in the world, growing the highest quality fruit possible and combining a "less is more" approach to winemaking. From its broad North Coast wine regions (Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, etc.), to its incredibly diverse Central Coast regions (Santa Barbara, Paso Robles, Monterey), we aim to show our customers that Californian winemakers are producing at the highest quality ever. We are very excited to host this exciting tasting experience for our customers.
This class will be taught by our friend, Kansas City wine professional Ryan Kelly, of Vinoteca. Snacks will be provided during class (cheese, charcuterie, focaccia), from our 'around-the-corner' wine bar/restaurant Vita's Place (VitasPlace.com).
