In Person Wine Classes and Tastings

In store classes & tastings are back & we can't wait to see you. In addition to our monthly "Final Thursday" free walk-in store tasting from 5 pm to 6:30 p.m. in the shop, scroll down for our additional class offerings available for purchase.

 

Classes are held here on Saturdays in our beautiful tasting room, are limited to 14 people, and are lead by instructors with decades of industry experience.

Class prices include a tasting of six wines + snacks.

    'WINE By The CLASS': Same Grape - Different Dirt

    Saturday, November 1
    3:00-4:30 pm

    Cabernet Sauvignon

    In this class, we will look at the same grape variety grown in different regions, countries & hemispheres of the world. You will learn, through tasting, how the same grape variety can vary greatly by where and how it is grown. Climate, soil, sun exposure, regional traditions and winemaking methods all influence what ends up in the bottle and in your glass. We are excited to host this 'WINE By The CLASS' topic and tasting experience for our customers.

    Snacks will be provided during class; compliments from chef Drue Kennedy of our 'around-the-corner' wine bar/restaurant Vita's Place VitasPlace.com.

    In this class, you will have the opportunity to taste and learn about this producer's exciting wines, grown within Tuscany's famous coastal region of Maremma. With a focus on both native Tuscan grape varieties, along with the famous grape varieties of Bordeaux, France, these quality wines will please all lovers of wine, both classic and modern.
