Overview

In 1984 a farm named Morgadío in the Rías Baixas subdistrict of Condado do Tea near the aldea of Albeos was consolidated from multiple existing owners, and planting began. Vineyard area was gradually expanded to its current 148 acres. Condado’s gentle climate, southern exposure and soil of brilliantly reflective granite sand serve to maximize the Albariño’s concentration.

100% Albariño; alcohol: 13%; 35-year-old vineyards in Cresente, Condado do Tea subregion of Rias Baixas between 165 – 650 feet; granitic, sandy soils; vines trained in traditional horizontal arbor; hand harvested and pressed within 30 minutes; fermented in stainless steel tanks; aged on lees 3 months in tank; aged 3 months in bottle.

A scented and mineral driven Albariño with pretty nectarines, lemon grass and sea salt. The wine showcases tart green apple with ripe kiwi, melon, honeysuckle & textbook salinity. The medium-bodied palate is bone-dry, super-fresh and sleek with a bright, mouthwatering finish.
