The Echeverría family has been a significant figure in Chilean winemaking for generations, with their estate in the Curicó Valley. Their winemaking roots date back to 1740, and in 1923, the family established their current vineyards and winery. Over the years, the Echeverrías have become pioneers in producing high-quality wines, transforming their winery from a bulk wine producer to a boutique, family-run operation.
Today, the Echeverría family is known for their dedication to natural winemaking. Their No Es Pituko line, which translates to "It's Not Fancy," is a testament to their philosophy of creating wines with minimal intervention.
We fell in love with the aromatics, texture, flavor, verve & finish of this one. It shows great purity to the impeccably clean red fruit, with just the smallest hint of fresh soil & smoked pepper. Fresh, peppery berry, raspberry, juicy plum, alpine herbs & smoky spices are all over this 2022 Chilean Cab Sauv. It finishes with silky smooth tannins & lingering notes of cocoa & spices.
