Cantina di Carpi Sorbara is a collective of grape growers/winemakers who banded together in order to preserve the quality of Lambrusco wines. Its 1200 members all have managed to maintain dedication to traditional practices while embracing modern technology. They farm over 2000 hectares of vineyards that encompass Lambrusco's 5 DOC production zones.
This sparkling red is made from 100% Lambrusco Salamino from 15+ year old organic vines in the hills of Modena. Beautiful freshness here with freshly soaked blueberries, elderberries, spearmint and rosemary. Dry, balanced and medium-bodied, drawing on a fine thread of bubbles and precise, cutting acidity. So refreshing to drink.
