Gentian, rhubarb, and wormwood are macerated in organic neutral wheat spirit for a month; the botanicals are separated, and the resulting extract is mixed with organic cane sugar, Sicilian lemon juice, and elderberry extract. It is bittersweet, with candied orange peel as one of the key flavors.
