Overview

In Nekea’s vineyards, everything from plantings, varieties, rootstocks, clones, soil types, and cultural practices have been oriented towards the goal of healthy, disease free, ripe grapes, and maintaining respect for the environment. Traditionally grown goblet trained vines, planted with old clones of Garnacha.
 
The Garnacha for Cepa por Cepa is lightly crushed and cold macerated in stainless steel. Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation in used French oak barrels.
 
A rich, juicy red with dried-strawberry, cherry and spice aromas and flavors. It’s full-bodied with soft tannins and a savory finish. A beautiful garnacha
