Vineyard: 100% Estate – Willow Creek District, Paso Robles
The brightly pitched nose is singing with wild strawberry, Chinese 5-spice, chaparral and jasmine elements. Flavors of crushed pomegranate, orange peel, miso and roasted maitake mushrooms intermingle on the silky mid-palate. The finish is precise, with chalky tannins and long, lingering flavors. This is so precise and fine-tannined with blackberries, black pepper, graphite and cloves. It’s full-bodied, yet tight and tensioned. Flavorful finish, yet it’s reserved at the very end
