Morisfarms is a benchmark producer located in the Maremma. For over 300 years, the Moris family has been producing wines in the Maremma region of Tuscany. Maremma comprises the Southwest portion of Tuscany which is known for its pristine agricultural plots, vast forested area, and sun-drenched coastline.
Mandriolo Rosso is a great introduction to their style. It’s a blend of 80% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Syrah and 5% Petit Verdot. Flashy notes of ripe strawberry, cherry & raspberry stand out on the nose. It is super clean, medium-bodied with flavors of juicy red cherry and plum, with hints of leafy herbs, black pepper & finishes with soft & silky tannins.
