The Wolftrap White, by Boekenhoutskloof, begins with an enticing aroma of honeysuckle, green apple and lemon along with pleasant notes of white flowers. The wine tastes a bit creamy and oaky on the palate with tons of rich flavors — this is not what you’d expect from a $10 bottle of wine! In the mouth it has similar fruit to the nose along with hints of baking spice. Some stony minerality leads into the crisp, dry and long finish. This is an intriguing blend that has quite a bit of complexity to it.
