Consider this 90-minute class + tasting from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, an unofficial warm-up to the biggest event in Hollywood: the Oscars. Jenn Walters (WSET-2) and Lisa Barber (WSET-2) will take you, glass by glass, through five different types of sparkling wine each paired with gourmet popcorn and some of the most iconic movie themes of all time. You’ll learn the basics of how bubbles are made, the difference between common types of sparkling wines, and how all things bubbly became the drink of celebrations around the world.
